Ankita Lokhande is one of the top contestants on 'Bigg Boss 17', and has frequently referenced her past relationship with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput during the show. Ankita and Sushant had a relationship that lasted around seven years before their separation in 2016. In a recent episode, she engaged in a conversation with Abhishek Kumar regarding the possessiveness exhibited by partners, reminiscing about a time when she felt emotional watching Sushant's intimate scenes in Shuddh Desi Romance. While conversing with Abhishek, Ankita disclosed how Sushant had booked an entire cinema hall for her during the movie screening. "He had reserved the whole hall. He anticipated that I might feel upset. I watched it and gripped the seat so tightly that my nails dug in," Ankita recounted. "After the movie ended, I returned home and cried a lot," she added, recalling the emotional experience. Ankita also recounted how after watching the movie, she experienced flashbacks of Sushant's intimate scenes when the two of them got intimate. "Those images flashed in my mind, and I instinctively pushed him back," she revealed, expressing her emotions about witnessing her boyfriend kissing someone else.
Ankita, who began dating Sushant during their time on the TV show 'Pavitra Rishta,' previously disclosed keeping her breakup a secret for two years. "Often, people don't reveal about their breakup because they hope that maybe the relationship might mend. There's always that hope, you know. For two years, I didn't want anyone to know about my breakup," she confided in a conversation with Isha Malviya.
She shared her optimism about Sushant returning to her, given their seven-year relationship. "I held onto hope that Sushant would return, hence I kept it private. I lived in a home surrounded by our photos," Ankita elaborated. Ankita is now married to Vicky Jain, who is also a participant on the show.
